How long does the early-bird pricing last?
Early-bird pricing is locked in for the lifetime of your account as long as you maintain an active subscription. If you cancel and re-subscribe later, you will pay the regular rate. We will announce when early-bird pricing ends at least 30 days in advance.
What counts as a "check"?
One check equals one compliance lookup for a specific business entity in a specific jurisdiction. For example, checking whether a restaurant has a valid food service permit in California counts as one check. Bulk operations count each individual lookup within the batch.
What happens if I exceed my monthly checks?
On the Starter plan, additional checks are paused until the next billing cycle. On Pro and Business plans, overage checks are billed at a per-check rate at the end of the billing cycle. Enterprise plans have no hard limits. You can set usage alerts in your dashboard to avoid surprises.
How does the renewal monitoring add-on work?
Add businesses to your monitoring watchlist and we will track their license and permit expiration dates. You receive webhook notifications 90, 60, and 30 days before expiration, plus alerts for any status changes. The $3/business/month fee covers continuous monitoring across all jurisdictions for that entity.
Can I upgrade or downgrade at any time?
Yes. You can switch tiers at any time from your dashboard. When upgrading, the difference is prorated for the rest of your billing cycle. When downgrading, the new rate applies at your next billing date. Early-bird pricing is preserved on upgrades.
Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No. All plans are month-to-month with no long-term contracts. You can cancel anytime and your access continues until the end of your current billing period. Enterprise plans may include custom terms depending on your requirements.
